Another word that might be fitting is “unexpected”. The results of both the Trump win and Brexit vote were seen by many as highly unusual and unexpected. What both these results did, in fact, shows that people around the world still have a voice and if they feel passionately, and have conviction, they will exercise that voice in a way that reflects their personal views and feelings. Norms and the “expected” have very little to do with it.
Even in South Africa we have not altogether sidestepped the political shake-ups and “unexpected” shifts in the political fabric. On a lighter note, I am not entirely sure whether I should, at present, be using rugby parlance in my attempt to illustrate my point. The underlying factor in all this is simply change – often unexpected change.
As a company we have also experienced some change and the most visible is obviously our new and refreshed branding. This is the most visible step in a number of changes that have taken place to ensure that we are ready for an exciting future and which is aimed at l enhancing client- experience.
