Herein lies one of my key strengths: the ability to take into account a diverse set of inputs and research insights in order to deliver key outputs.
My current role helps me live out this passion by working in the investment industry and being able to help my clients achieve as well as better understand their own goals. I think finance has a fundamental role to play in the economy and by extension, society.

I research and explain economic events and how they fit into unfolding big-picture trends, with a specific focus on variables relevant to fund management.
I do not believe we can predict the future and rather focus on identifying imbalances or pressure points where economic variables have drifted from their fundamental levels. My departure point in research is to guard against my own bias and I strive to never stop reading, since knowledge of the discipline of economics is never complete.

Today we find ourselves living in such a complex world. Nothing is black and white anymore. This makes decision-making such a tough job. I always try to imagine how difficult it would be for my grandparents to make financial or investment decisions in times like this. So I find myself always looking to transform complicated and complex concepts into ‘easy-to-understand’ terms – because I believe this is what adds value to our clients.
